“So, I’m asking for funding support to record this album because not only is it really important to me but recording other people’s material is very expensive hence why I don’t do it as often as I’d like. But, I won’t let the lack of funds be the reason why I don’t put these songs out in the universe. In the past, I’ve been financially conscious while recording my previous albums because the cost is always at the forefront of an independent artists mind. Now I’m taking a new route that has worked for other music artists and putting everything I have into this album (and then some) because I believe these songs deserve to be recorded with the best musicians, producers and arrangers in the best studios.
I’m looking forward to recording with longtime collaborator Khari Cabral Simmons and a host of some of the finest musicians I know.
In appreciation for your support, there are various exclusives offered to the right, including signed albums, t-shirts, guest passes to my shows and private house concerts.
If you aren’t familiar with Kickstarter, we need to reach the minimum goal in order to fund this project, otherwise, all pledges will be canceled, you will be refunded any money you pledged and zero money/exclusives will be transferred. Basically, it’s all or nothing. Together I know we can do it!
Please contact me with any questions and thank you for helping me with Under The Covers!!”
